1. Prepare your content: First, you need to prepare your book manuscript. Convert it to eBook format (e.g. MOBI, EPUB, etc.), make sure the content is properly formatted, and do the final proofreading.

2. Create a KDP account: Visit the Kindle Direct Publishing website (kdp.amazon.com) and create a free KDP account.

3. Add book information: After logging in to your KDP account, click the "Create a new Kindle eBook" button. Then, you need to provide details about the book, such as the book title, author name, book description, keywords, etc.

4. Upload Book Files: In step 3, you will have the opportunity to upload your book files. Make sure the uploaded file meets the requirements of the KDP platform and check its format in the preview tool.

5. Set Pricing and Distribution Regions: You can set the price of your book and choose in which countries/regions it will be sold. You can also choose to participate in the KDP Select program, which makes your eBooks available to subscribers in Kindle Unlimited (KU) and Kindle Lending Library (KOLL).

6. Click "Publish ": After completing the above steps, you can click the "Publish" button to publish your eBook to the Kindle Store.

Please note that publishing eBooks through KDP does not require you to pay any upfront fees, and you will receive a percentage of the royalties you set from each eBook sold.

Two. Using the CreateSpace publishing platform (now renamed Amazon Print):
If you want to publish paper books, Amazon's CreateSpace (now renamed Amazon Print) platform can help you do so. The following are the general steps:

1. Create an account: Visit the Amazon Print website (createspace.com) and create a free account.

2. Add New Book Item: After logging in to your account, click the "Add New Book" button. You will need to provide detailed information about the book, including the title, author name, book description, etc.

3. Upload content and cover: You can upload the internal content and cover design of your book. CreateSpace provides some templates and guidelines to help you create a suitable cover.

4. Set Pricing and Distribution Regions: You can set the pricing of your book and choose which countries/regions to sell it in. CreateSpace also provides tools to calculate estimated revenue to help you develop a reasonable pricing strategy.

5. Review and Proofreading: After the upload is complete, CreateSpace will review your content and cover. They will check formatting, typography and other details and provide an electronic sample for your review. You should check the sample carefully to make sure everything meets your expectations.

6. Publishing and Distribution: Once reviewed and approved, you can choose to publish your book to Amazon's various marketplaces and choose to print and distribute the paper book using CreateSpace, which will print to order and take care of sending the paper book directly to the purchaser.

Please note that using CreateSpace to publish paper books may require you to pay some fees, such as printing costs and distribution fees. You will receive a percentage of the royalties you set for each paperback book sold.
